Use mouse to aim at enemy units and use Left click to shoot. Enemy units can occur anytime during the gameplay, so be observant and shoot it to ground whenever you see one, however make sure not to hit friendly units or your own balloon or else your score will show a negative increment for each friendly unit killed. The enemy units move at high speed among random friendly units so aim and shoot carefully and instantly.
