Usually wreckage are stuffs that no one likes and has no interest in but this time you are going to encounter something that you'll love to keep although these are wreckage but certainly are precious both in terms of beauty and currency (gold). The slideshow includes some of the best underwater wreckage photography of this season in 2013. Starting from the order of appearance the photos depict the following: The Picture shows the wreckage of a Japanese World War II fighter plane as the diver explores the wreckage near the town of Rabaul in Papua New Guinea. These waters used to be Japanese stronghold during the war and can be found with tons of underwater wreckage of both Allied and Axis warships and aircraft. The Picture shows a glowing rusted prow of the R.M.S. Titanic. The famed ocean liner, which sank after hitting an iceberg in April 1912, was discovered in 1985 near Newfoundland under some 12,500 feet (3,800 meters) of water. The Picture shows a rusted hulk of a shipwreck sitting in shallow waters off Tubbataha Reef in the Philippines. Covering more than 81,000 acres (32,000 hectares) in the heavily trafficked Sulu Sea, shallow Tubbataha has scuttled more than its share of vessels. The Picture shows the wreck of a tugboat resting in its sandy Caribbean grave. The abundance of shallow reefs have made the British Virgin Islands a scuba diver's paradise and a boat captain's nightmare. The Picture shows a gold chalice & an amphora (left) and a two-handled cup called kylix (right) amid the wreckage of an ancient merchant vessel in the Mediterranean Sea. The 50-foot(15-meter) ship was laden with valuables and commodities when it sank some 3,400 years ago near Turkey. The Picture shows a heavily coral covered British Carnatic as the diver takes a careful peek at the reefs of deadly Red Sea. The ship sunk in Sept 1869 after running aground near Gubal Island. The Picture shows a sunken U.S.S. President Coolidge while divers swim near a gun tub on the Coolidge near Vanuatu's Espiritu Santo Island. The Coolidge was Built in 1931 as a luxury cruise liner but was converted to military use during World War II. It sank in 1942 after striking an American mine while approaching Espiritu Santo. The Picture shows remains of a ship that broke up on one of the many shallow reefs around the Cayman Islands as the divers and fish hover over the remains in West Indies. The Picture shows an unfortunate small vessel near Bahamas which is a result of heavy trans-Atlantic maritime traffic near North America's coastal waters which has led to several tonnes of unfortunate ships like this small vessel. That's all folks. Hope you liked it. Now don't be selfish and share it with your friends. ;) and don't forget to bookmark or subscribe to catch more photography action on here. See yaa.
